Under the joint initiative of Samarth Bharat, a project of Bhaurao Deoras Seva Nyas, and Seva Bharati, a mega employment camp was organized on at Bhartiyam School, Greater Noida. The event ran from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aiming to connect job seekers with companies offering employment opportunities.
The camp was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony before Bharat Mata by the chief guest, Mrs. Amanpreet (IRS), Joint Commissioner, Income Tax, Delhi.
A total of 953 candidates registered for the camp, out of which 701 registered online and 252 registered on-site. Of the registered candidates, 526 attended the camp. Out of those, 126 were selected for jobs through on-the-spot interviews conducted by 18 participating companies.
Recruiting companies included Digital India, Anmol Biscuits, River Engineering, Crest Manpower, DS Group, LiveTech Services, Vividh Packaging, Radiance Engineering, Tata AIG, Max Life, and others.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Rahul Singh, Secretary of Bhaurao Deoras Seva Nyas, shared that the Samarth Bharat initiative was launched to address unemployment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The project focuses on self-employment, vocational training, and economic empowerment.
Mr. Shonal, head of Samarth Bharat, announced that another employment camp would soon be held in Noida to extend job opportunities to more people.
The camp was organized with the support of Bhaurao Deoras Seva Nyas, Samarth Bharat Seva Prakalp, Seva Bharati, Laghu Udyog Bharati, and other local service organizations.
Notable attendees included Prof. Vivek Kumar (event coordinator), Vineet Pandey (Director, LiveTech Services), Mayank Pandey (District Secretary, Seva Bharati), Vivek Arora (Director, Digital India), Mr. K.P. Singh (Vividh Packaging), Umesh Bansal (Chairman, Bhartiyam School), Ravindra Pal Singh, Abhay Ji, Sumit Gupta, Akshay, Anantdeep, and other dignitaries and volunteers.
