On this day, 11 street-side barbers operating near Jhandewalan Temple were awarded certificates by Shri Bharat Bhushan Ji, of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), upon successful completion of a two-day RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) training program. The certificates were issued under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India.
During the event, meaningful discussions were held with the participating barbers about how to improve the quality of their services and enhance their income. Future plans were also outlined to provide them with better opportunities for growth and professional development.
