On the occasion of Karva Chauth, a vibrant Saubhagyavati Utsav was organized by Mrs. Gunjan Gupta, Municipal Councillor of Ward 18E, Anand Vihar.
Women from Samarth Bharat actively participated in the event by showcasing their talents and offering beauty and festive services to the women attending the celebration. These included mehndi (henna), hairstyling, makeup, and more.
This event not only allowed the women to contribute meaningfully to a cultural celebration but also helped them initiate income generation — making it a significant step toward self-employment and financial independence.
The Utsav beautifully blended tradition with empowerment, serving as a powerful example of how community events can foster both cultural pride and economic opportunity for women.
